About:Guangzhou Metro

Hi, I have 7 hours stopover in Guangzhou and would like to go to the city to eat something

where should i get off and what places do you recommend?

It is suggested to take the airport shuttle bus line 5 to reach Haizhu Plaza Station, where you can walk along the Pearl River to appreciate the river scenery.
Then take a taxi to Shangxijiu Pedestrian to have a taste of local snacks.

thanks, we were actually thinking about taking the subway, how much is the shuttle? if we were to take the subway where at which station we should get off?

The shuttle bus costs around CNY20 per person.
If you take the metro to travel, board the subway line 3 at the airport to get off at Jiahewanggang, where transfer to line 2 to Haizhu Plaza. Upon gettig out from exit A, you can easily walk to the Pearl River!

Oh I see. I suggest you take shuttle bus line 5 to Haizhu Plaza and walk to Beijing Road, where there are many good restaurants and snacks with a reasonable price.
