About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit in Shanghai to JFK, US

Hi, i'm holding Malaysia passport and will be taking China Eastern flight depart Singapore via Shanghai to JFK, New York.
Do i require China visa on this transit?

It is not required if your stopover is less than 24 hours.
