About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Will this be permitted under the requirements of the 72 hr free visa?

Hello, US citizen, planning to take a flight from BKK into CAN. I will remain in CAN for 36 hours then take a flight into HKG.

Yes, you can use 72 hours free transit in Guangzhou. You should have the ticket from Guangzhou to HK in hands when you land at the Guangzhou airport.
