About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

Transfer flight from Sydney to London at Guangzhou

when returning from Sydney on route to London. I will have a 16 hour wait between flights. Do I qualify for a Visa-Free transfer?
If I need a Visa if I'm not travelling until December 2014, when would I need to request one?

Yes, you are eligible for the free-visa transfer. If you don't get out of the airport during the transit, no any document is needed. If you wanna have a short visit in the city, you can easily apply for a stay permit upon landing, with which u will be allowed to go out for the short trip!
