international to domestic transfer (delta, terminal 2) in beijing capital airport

Question

Hi - I'm traveling to Xi'an China and connecting to get there through BJ.  What must I do upon deplaning from the US prior to boarding the next flight to Xi'an?  I've connected through many European and Middle Eastern airports in the past (as well as Japan) but I've not yet done so through China.  I'd like to make sure I'm efficient in the process and do what I can to avoid causing myself a delay.  Thanks in advance for the help!

You need to transfer by following the steps: Inspection & Quarantine, Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection - Baggage Claim - Customs Inspection - Going through Transfer Formalities - Security check - Waiting & BoardingAt least, you need to prepare about two hours to transitting.
