Do all passengers need to be present to pick up tickets in China? At Xi'an airport?

I have booked tickets for my wife and me to go from Xi'an to Chongqing. Two questions:
1. Is there a place to pick up the tickets at the airport?
2. I will be arriving several hours ahead of her. Can I get both of our tickets or do we both need to be present in perso,n to pick them up?

These days, you could only pick up the tickets at the railway station. If you have your wife's passport, you could pick up the ticket for her.
