Stopover at Shanghai Pudong Airport for 16 hours

hello mam/sir I'm from the philippines,we are here at germany we are going to visit in philippines. our flight is may 11 our stop over to SH Pu dong airport .my husband and i our planning to stay in a hotel because our stop over is 16 hours.. my husband and my son is us citizen and i still philippines passport holder to i need to get a visa.
