Airline attendant friend wants to visit me

My friend is an airline attendant and she is coming to shanghai on a flight.. does she need to a visa to visit me in Nanjing even though she is not going to be here for very long.. She gets to her crew accomodations on Sat @6 and has to be back on Sun @5

She can apply for the Crew type if she just stays for just a while. The guarantee letter from her airline or the invitation letter from the relevant Chinese unit.
