About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

I will be flying from Hong Kong to Shanghai, then leaving less than 72 hours later to Osaka, Japan.

Does that count, even though the origin of the flight is HK so technically China? Thank you.

Hi, it is ok, HK is considered as the third region with a different immigration system.
