Can I obtain this visa from CVASC in KL? or Do I need to get a visa from Hong Kong consulate?

Hello, I am a Libyan citizen based in Malaysia and having a working permit. I would like to visit Hong Kong in April for a 1 week holiday. I'd like to apply for a L type,

Sorry, you should apply from Chinese embassy in Malaysia directly. Or you can send your application to HK Immigration Department by post and then wait for their approval.
