About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

Does our 9 year old need to attend the CVASC in person with us (parents)?

The text above suggests that all applicants need to attend in person, but I wanted to double cjeck.

According to the official website of the visa service center, applicants who are aged between 14 to 70 inclusive applying for Chinese visas are required to submit the application in person to get fingerprints and photo take at the Visa Application Centres.

Thanks Hailey

The website also states "The applicants are required to fill in the application form before going there in person to submit the application" and so given she is an applicant, it's probably safer we wait until the next school holidays and take her with us. Just wish the website was clearer in this respect.
