This is our first time to visit China, we land on 22nd May 2014 late nite around 11.30pm, and we plan to visit good place in BJ ( maybe u can suggest more places for us) and we not book for the hotel yet, so which area is better for us to stay (area/hotel name) so is more efficient for us, bcos after 3 days we will go to shanghai. from BJ to Shanghai is better for us to go by train/bus or flight and we will stay in shanghai for 3 days. In shanghai which area better we stay and what kind of place or attraction we must visit in shanghai.

For accommodation, I suggest you stay near Tianamen Square or Wangfujing area, which will be convenient for visiting and shopping!May I know your budget for accommodation? Anyway, I stayed in a budget hostel named Happy Dragon Hostel in Beijing, where there are many foreign travelers with whom you can chat!From Beijing to Shanghai, it is best to travel by high-speed train, which can be taken at Beijng South Station. You will get to Hongqiao Railway Station! And you can stay in the Bund area. I remember there is Motel 168, which may be suitable for you!For the attractions there, you cannot miss Yuyuan Garden, The Bund, Oriental Pearl Tower, Jin Mao Tower, Xin Tian Di and Nanjing Road Pedestrian!
