Can i extend my L visa in China?

I had extended my L twice in China last years, but this year the immigration officer said i can't do it again & have to go back to my country. But then after i go back, they said the regulation has changed & they don't accept L extend anymore, how can i do if i want to stay longer? My husband is a china nationality but we haven't register our marriage yet, because of our documents have not completed yet. Any suggestion ?
