About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Vancouver-Beijing, Beijing- Guangzhou

I fly from Vancouver to Beijing, then have a connecting flight from Beijing to Guangzhou (about two hour layover). I plan to stay in Guangzhou for less than 72 hours and have a flight to Singapore. Because I land in two cities, does the 72 hour visa free applicable when I arrive in Guangzhou?

No, this does not apply to the transit via two cities. You need to apply for a transit G type one in advance for this visit.
