Is it easy to take a taxi from any hotel to the airport early in the morning in Chengdu?

I am planning to arrive in CD a day early than my tour group.

The tour group will arrive by flight at 6:30am (scheduled arrival time).

I will have to travel to meet them airport.

Question: how long is the journey to airport?
Question: is it easy to take a taxi at the hotel on a sunday morning.

At this point in time, I am not sure which hotel I would staying.. as such arrangement is being made.

The airport being 1-0 miles away, give and take another few minutes depending where the hotel is, I believe 30 minutes would be sufficient. Am I right?
