About:Visa Policy of China

Get new tourism visa with new passport

Hi. I want to join a chinese language course for about 4-6 weeks this year. I will probably join a private school so an invitation Jform will be hard to get I guess. So i need a 60 day tourist L.
The problem is I already gotten two tourism L last year ( the last was one was a hassle to get because they said i had too many previous Ls) I never overstayed on them but my guess they wont give me a new tourist L this time.

What are my options? will it help just to get an new passport and never mention the previous ones?

And if a school provides a Jform for the X will everything be ok then?

Hi, I think you can ask the private school for an invitation letter, then try to apply for tourist L for private visit, not mention the language course. A 30 day L is ok because you can extend it while you are in China.
BYW, to change a new passport is the other option, but this does not guarantee the issuance of a 60 day L.

Thanks for the info. I will ask some of the schools. But the 30 day L is not an option, because you have to show plane tickets. if the dates on ticket show i will be longer than 30 days it will be a problem I guess?

Does any of the schools issue you an Admission Notice? if yes, you are able to apply for student X2 type directly. This should be the best choice.

Thanks for the reply. They do issue an Admission letter. But for some reason the website of embassy in Holland also asks for the JWform for an X2. Which is strange because embassies in other countries dont...
