About:Chinese Embassy in U.K.

On a cruise to Shanghai for 1 day do I need a visa?

I believe requiremnet to China has changed last year; for visits of up to 3 days to Shanghai or Beijing it is no longer required. Can you please advise. Thank you.

Hi, 3 days exemption is for air transit only. If you visit by cruise but stay in Shanghai for no more than 24 hours, visa is also not required.
