You should apply for a L type from the Chinese embassy. It requires your passport, completed application form, a recent color photo (48X33mm) and round trip air tickets and hotel reservations (or an invitation letter). If you come to PRC for the first time, you should provide personal financial status, employment or study proof, for example, recent six month bank saving proof, BIR-stamped incom tax return form or professional ID.2
