For example, if my lucky animals are rooster and monkey, how do I determine what days/months will be lucky? If the first month of the year is always a tiger, what are the following months? What is the animal associated with the first day of the new year? What is the element for the first day of the new year and what order do the animals and elements follow in succession?

Susie, you can figure out the elements and animals for a certain day with the help of a yellow calendar book. As for the rules, it's really difficult for us to understand how the calendar was made out.
