About:Chinese Embassy in Costa Rica

I am a resident here in Costa Rica and plan a trip to China for 10 days. What do I need to do?

I will be visiting my son and family. My son has sent a letter of invitation and I will be flying through the United States. May I stop in Texas for a few days before continuing on to China?

You need to provide invitation letter, round-trip ticket and proof of your resident status in Costa Rica for tourist L application. Sorry, I am not clear about the transit through US, so better check with US immigration for details.
