entry visa to china from a usa passport

I have a four year old daughter that is a USA citizen.Can I go to to the embassy with her mother, who is a Chinese citizen with a USA green card, to apply for it for my daughter?  Patick Stapleton

Yes, your daughter does not need to be present for the application, but make sure to bring the original and a photocopy of her birth certificate.
