About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

UK citizens cruising to Shanghai, Xiamen, Hong Kong March 2014 - do we need visas, and if so which?

Shanghai and Xiamen stops will be less than 24 hours, Hong Kong about 48 hours max.

Visa is not required if you will not leave the Shanghai port and Xiamen port during stopovers. Otherwise, you need to apply for a double entry Chinese tourist L or transit G in advance.
