About:China Work Visa

Obtaining Working Visa with out BA Degree??

Hi, I have been offered a position with a Chinese film making company in Shanghai, I don't have a BA degree, but I have 4 years industry experience and some certification. Is it still possible to obtain a Z?? Thanks James

Generally speaking, the degree is required for work permit application. But you can contact the company for more details because they are responsible to get you a work permit from the relevant department.

Hi and thanks taking the time to reply.

The company hired an agent.The agent was to submit all the documents to bureau, on doing so the the agent reported back saying that the Bureau won't accept the application because its missing a BA degree.

That is to say, you can not apply for the work Z type if the Bureau does not accept application without BA degree. I am thinking maybe you can try to apply for a business M instead. However, you should know that M may require you to leave every certain period of time and it is illegal to work on M actually.
