visa application query

hi, I am a south African citizen and planning to visit Beijing in august 2014. I am planning to stay there for seven days. what type do I need to apply for? and what are the requirements?

Hi, if you are visiting for tourism, then you can apply for a tourist L type. Documents showing the itinerary including round-trip air ticket booking and proof of a hotel reservation are required. Basic requirements are your passport, application form with photo. Please keep in mind that a single entry is valid for 3 months only, so you can apply in late june or July if you plan to visit in August.
