About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

From seaport to airport

I am a U.K. passport holder, arriving in Shanghai on a cruise ship, and going directly to the airport to fly to U.K.
Will a transit visa suffice, or will I need to apply for a tourist L?

A transit G type is enough for this visit.
