About:Taiwan Weather

We intend to visit Taiwan early May, would like to know if the plum rain is considered heavy rain?

we have an elderly with us

Generally yes, but as you will go there in early May, there will be just frequent lightly rainy days instead of heavy rain, according to the weather records in the past years.
