About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Flying Singapore to Beijing via Kuala Lumpur MH and back to Singapore via Hong Kong CX.

Both involve change of plane at KL and Hong Kong. Eligible for visa free entry?

If you hold Indonesian passport, you can not take advantage of 72 hour free transit policy. But you are exempted from visa to HK, so nothing required for your stopover there. You just need to Chinese visa for your stay in Beijing. Sorry, I am not sure if you need one to transit in KL or not.

Thanks. Sorry I should have said I hold a British passport and will be less than 72 hours in Beijing.
