About:China Transit Visa

I am a filipino citizen living in california, i have a 22 hrs. stop over in pudong international airport do i need to get a transit visa if i want to stay outside the airport?

If you just transit less than 24 hours, you needn't apply for the transit type one. If you want to get out of the airport, you should apply for a stay permit when you arrive at the airport.
