About:Beijing Travel

my son is flying from Yangon to Beijing.

he will be in BJ for just 12h. however the flight from yangon touches down on the way in kunming for just 1 hour. is he still able to get the 72h transit visa in bj or will he have to clear customs in kunming.

Hi, your son doesn't need to clear customs in Kunming, but as he will stopover in two cities in China, he won't be qualified for the 72h visa-free policy in BJ. Anyway, as he will only stay for 12h in BJ, he doesn't need a visa if he only stays in the airport.
