About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

My plan is a Seoul-Shanghai-Beijing-Seoul trip, am I eligible for the visa-exemption?

Hi, I intend to visit Shanghai and Beijing as well, departing from Korea, and then arriving back to Korea again after 5 days. Is it possible to do this without a visa, in light of the current regulations? I would only spend two days in Shanghai and Beijing, respectively, so altogether 4-5 days. My flights would be: 1, Seoul to Shanghai; 2, Shanghai to Beijing; 3, Beijing to Seoul. Thanks~

Sorry, you can't enjoy 72 hours free transit in Beijing and Shanghai because you transit in two cities and the place of departure is the same location as your final destination.
