going to manila from sfo plan to transit in beijing going back from mnl to us transit in shanghai.

us citizen going to manila and i want to transit 72 hr free visa in beijing. going back to sfo, after 10 days transit in shanghai for 72 hrs freely? is this allowed?

Yes, it is ok for you to avail 72 hour free transit permit both ways if you have confirmed flight ticket leaving within 72 hours.
