About:China Transit Visa

Filipino citizen traveling to Los Angeles with stop over in Guangzhou.

I am a Philippine passport holder travelling to Los Angeles, USA and has a stop over (connecting flight) in Guangzhou. From Manila to Guangzhou and from Guangzhou to Los Angeles. I do have my confirmed seat to LA and also my return ticket back to Manila. Do I still need to apply for a transit visa/permit?

If the stopover is less than 24 hours and you will not go out of the airport, visa is not required.
