foreign student in china with a valid residence permit to lhasa through train then flight

Hi! I want to go to lhasa via train from Shanghai and then want to go to Nepal via air. I have no intentions to get around Tibet for tourism.i) Is it possible?ii)Can I buy the tickets to Nepal on getting to lhasa?Thanks in advance

You are not allowed to enter there alone, so it is suggested to change your plan. Foreigners need to get a travel permit before enter there in a group and the permit can be gotten through the tour agency.
