how do i find out where my application for transit is at? my flight is next week?

I have lodged for a transit visa three weeks ago and I am having trouble trying to find out where the application is at.  My flight is next week and I don't have a VISA or my Passport at this stage. I'm unable to get through any of the phone numbers indicated above. They just ring out. What do I need to do? Please help.

Did you lodge your application personally to CVASC in Melbourne? if yes, please contact the center directly at Tel:+61-3-9937-2308. The regular processing takes 4 working days only.
