About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Just to be clear, I do not need to do anything in advance

My wife and i are planning to stay in shanghai for 72 hours next week, we have our flight booked in and out. Just to be sure, I do not need to complete anything now? I wait until I get to Pudong to complete any forms?

You don't need to do anything in advance, except that you should tell the airline that you want to make use of the 72or 144 hr free transit scheme in Shanghai. The rest things are left to be done upon arrival at Pudong airport.
