does anyone know how the process for international transit passenger to international transfer work?

It will be my first tijme to go to this big airport and i have a very little idea of how transit passenger tranfer process works. i will not go out of the airport bcos i have no visa( exemption for transit passengers) what floor do i arrive in terminal 2 pudong airport? is it level one? and then i understand that i have to go through immigration after i arrive and the claim my baggage. then, which floor do i go to for the "international arrival hall"? is that where i will check-in for my next flight (connecting flight to mexico)? and where do they check my baggage again? and lastly, the boarding gates are located in 3rd floor. is it correct?
pleaseeee help me . i need an answer asap.
