About:Embassy of Qatar in China

Is it possible to stay in China and apply for a visa in Qatar?

I have been offered a job in qatar with a company called Marbu contracting company. They are asking me to procure my visa from qatar embassy in qatar. Is it possible? Someone please answer me

qatar embassy in qatar??? how can it be possible? why the country set up the embassy in their own country?? I think they mean to get a visa from Qatar embassy in Beijing.
