About:China Visa

wanting stay longer -finally immigrating in China?

The Chinese Authorities have just changed the visa application in Mauritius.
If staying less than one month in China -no need to apply for visa-but if wants to stay longer-lengthy procedures.
In my case, my wife who was a chinese-native has now been travelling with a mauritian passport, and now we want to stay longer one year or more as we want to have an in-vitro treatment in China and at the same time try to find solutions for my heart proplem in China.
On the other hand, my only child (who is still a minor) wants to start school(full-time) in China.
Can you tell us what we should do?
PS:can u tell me where are u from and what is your profession and your nationality
thanking you in advance

Hi, I think you and your family need to apply for Chinese visas if you need to stay for long time in China. Your wife is able to apply for Q type with an invitation letter from her relatives, you and your child may need to apply for a S type instead. Anyway, this is my advise, you should better visit the embassy directly for more information.
