About:China Visa on Arrival

VOA Shenzhen + Passport Validity

Hi last time me and my friends visited China in 2011 - We got a visa from the Office (PSB) after clearing Hong Kong Customs at the LoWu check-point. For all of us it was our first / second time to China using this method. Are these still available for issue, if so what cost and how long does the passport have to be valid for - we want to go for shopping for the day? Travel party include Canadian, Malaysian, New Zealand and Dutch travellers.

Yes, you still can get Shenzhen VOA at the Luo Hu port. Fee differs based on passports, but generally it is HK$168 per person. The passport should be valid for at least 6 months. But I don't think it will be a problem as you only visit for one day.

Thanks for the reply Molly, is 6 months written anywhere in relation to Shenzhen VOA? I cannot find any written info on this visa on any China Govt website.

Wow! Thanks Molly - how did you manage to find that number. I have been looking for ages even the office in HK don't have (or are not willing to give!)
