Hi, if your stopover in Beijing is less than 24 hours, visa is not required. You can just apply for a stay permit after arrival at the airport if you need to go out of the airport for a hotel.

I will arrive Beijing on January 17th. at 3:10pm, stay at Langham Hotel which I suppouse is in or near the airport (No.1 Erjing Road, Beijing, 100621), and my plane leaves on January 18th. at 4:30pm. That is 25 hours and 20 minutes…. Then on the trip back I will stay again for one night in Beijing making a transit of 25 hrs. and 30 minutes.Since it is not less than 24 hrs…. should I apply for a visa?Thank you for your helpLuis Rodil
