About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

6 hour over at Shanghai on the way to Manila on 24 November

I hold a Philippine passport. I am travelling from Vancouver to Manila, Philippines tomorrow. Do I need a transit visa just for a few hours at the Shanghai airport. I am going to Manila to attend the burial of my father who passed away yesterday. Please advice.
