About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Stop, but not change planes in Kunming

We are flying from Japan to Dubai, with an overnight in Shanghai. When we leave Shanghai, we have a stop in Kunming, but we do not get off the plane. Will I be allowed to transit without a visa? Thank you.

May I know long will you transit in Shanghai? to my experience, this itinerary does not apply to 72 hour free transit.

You are allowed free entry if the total stopover in China is less than 24 hours. Your itinerary does not apply to this 72 hour visa free transit.
