Hi. I will move to Korea soon and would like to visit my girlfriend in Shanghai approx. twice a month. Ideally I would like to decide to travel to China spontaneously. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks!!!!

You can have a try to apply for a multiple tourist L with an invitation letter from your girlfriend and copies of her residence permit and valid visa. I am not sure if you can get this if you never visited China before.
