Hong Kong Visa from Iran

My friend and I submitted our applications 2 months ago and we have a confirmed flight to Hong Kong for this Saturday 23rd Nov.2013, but Unfortunately we have not gotten ours yet, the Hong Kong immigration asked us for a reference number but the Chinese embassy in Iran told us there is no reference number except the one which is available in our pick up form slip, how can we find the status?
