About:China Visa on Arrival

I am flying through China from Iran.

Hi. I am flying through China from Iran to Australia with an Iranian Passport. I would have a layover time of about 10 hours in two airports of China and am not intending to exit the airports. Do I need a visa? I have an Australian permanent resident visa.

Iden, you do not need any kind of visa because you will be covered by 24 hour visa free transit. Since you do not plan to exit the airport, you will basically just walk from one to the other gate and between them you will just encounter a security check. Beside the security check you do not need to perform any formality nor you will fill out any forms. Also, you will not be a subject of immigration and/or customs control. This is all valid in case if you have just one landing (airport) in China and if you travel on a single ticket. I wish you a pleasant journey.
