About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Going to Sanya, China with an American Passport.

My family and I are trying to visit Sanya, China for 6 days. I was told that I American passport holders can get a Landing Visa upon arrival. Is this true or would I need to book through a Sanya travel agency in order to become eligible to visit China? Thank you for your help!

Hi, you need to book a tour through a Hainan registered travel agency so that you are exempted from visa for this visit. Otherwise, you should apply for one in advance.
