2 stops in china, is this allowed?

Question

Hello, I have booked a flight from Bangkok to Guangzhou, arriving at 11pm on dec 17th... Than I have booked a SEPARATE flight home to Canada (passport holder) for 8am dec 18th, but it has a 3 hour layover in Beijing.. All of which is under 24 hours (from arrival in GZ to departure in PEK) ... will I have any problems arriving in Beijing and getting on my transfer flight home if I do not leave either of the airports? *I do not meet the requirements for a 72hr visa free stay due to me not leaving directly from GZ*your help is greatly appreciated,

hi Devin, take it easy. you will have no problems as your stop in either of the airports is not longer than 24 hours, and you will not leave the airport.
