About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

On an L must I leave China before the visa expires?

I am getting a double entry L for two trips, once during a cruise (2 days) and a second visit at the end of the cruise (4 days) before flying home to UK. Must my L be valid on the day I fly home or is it sufficient if it expires on the day I enter for the second visit?

I am asking this question because if I apply for it at the earliest date possible (three months before the first visit) and am given a three-month one it may have expired before the end of the second visit.

Hi, you must enter before 24:00 of the very day as issued to your L as "ENTER BEFORE". Otherwise, it expires and not allowed entry.

It was kind of you to reply but you have not answered my question. This was about the expired status of my visa on exit, not on entry.

Hi Raymond, it is ok to stay full days (as duration of stay each entry) in China if you enter with valid visa. It is not a problem because you just activate your second entry, let's say, 30 days from the entry date.
