As a foreigner who doesn't know the language, can I spend 2 days in Guangzhou without going crazy?

From what I've read, it seems that knowing even a little bit of the language (which I don't) seems incredibly useful for spending time in China and GZ. As I don't even speak even one word of the language, how difficult will I find spending two days in GZ?
