About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

TPE -> SFO w/ 17 hour layover in BJ

Hello, I'm currently looking for tickets to go back home to California. Cheapest tickets are offered by Air China from TPE to SFO with a 17 hour layover in BJ (Capital International Airport). I should be able to wander around BJ during those 17 hours right? Also, do you know if there is a place at the airport for me to leave my luggage?

If this new rule works out, I'd be so excited!!! I've always wanted to visit BJ!

Yes, sure. You can avail this free transit permit in BJ for a stopover less than 72 hours. Don't worry, there are left-luggage counters in the arrival hall.
