tpe - sfo w/ 17 hour layover in bj

Hello, I'm currently looking for tickets to go back home to California. Cheapest tickets are offered by Air China from TPE to SFO with a 17 hour layover in BJ (Capital International Airport). I should be able to wander around BJ during those 17 hours right? Also, do you know if there is a place at the airport for me to leave my luggage?Thank you so much! :)If this new rule works out, I'd be so excited!!! I've always wanted to visit BJ!

Yes, sure. You can avail this free transit permit in BJ for a stopover less than 72 hours. Don't worry, there are left-luggage counters in the arrival hall.
